A ROMSEY man has been banned from the road for more than two years after he pleaded guilty to drunk driving.
Ben Williams, 45, of The Hundred, drove a car in The Copse on Saturday, July 6 whilst over the alcohol limit, a court heard.
Williams underwent a breath test, returning a result of 115 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times over the legal limit.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 13, Williams pleaded guilty to the offence.
On Wednesday, October 16, magistrates banned Williams from the road for 26 months. This can be reduced by 26 weeks if he completes a course by February 13, 2026.
Williams must also complete 60 hours of unpaid work, and attend a rehabilitation activity for a maximum of eight days.
He must also pay costs of £85.
