Aldi is inviting children in Hampshire to design a poster to encourage people to recycle.
The competition is part of the supermarket's efforts to encourage sustainable shopping behaviours, which also includes reducing single-use plastic and increasing recycled content in packaging.
The initiative also aligns with Aldi, Team GB, and ParalympicsGB’s Get Set to Eat Fresh programme, aimed at inspiring young people aged five–14 years to develop an interest in healthy, sustainable food.
The competition is open during Recycle Week from October 14-20.
The children will compete for the chance to win a £250 Aldi voucher for their family and have their designs displayed at the supermarket's UK headquarters.
The winning entries will be selected by a panel of Aldi’s sustainability experts.

Luke Emery, national sustainability director at Aldi, said: "At Aldi, we are constantly reviewing ways to reduce excess plastic and packaging, and this competition aims to educate children on the importance of recycling.
"We hope it inspires the next generation to embrace small changes that can make a big difference to the planet, and we look forward to receiving a diverse range of entries."
Parents and teachers can submit their children's poster design via email to aldicompetitions@citypress.co.uk.
Entries opened on October 14 and close on November 8.
