THE Gratton Trust is looking for new volunteers to help run the annual Grattonbury Music Festival. The event has been a highlight in the calendar for Sutton Scotney for many years and is under threat due to falling funds and a lower-than-normal amount of volunteers.
The trust would therefore like to invite local residents who might be interested in organising and running Grattonbury to get in touch. Volunteers would need to commit to attending monthly planning meetings, as well as the event itself and a meeting the morning after the festival. Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to email grattontrustchair@gmail.com.
