WINCHESTER planning officers rejected plans for one scheme under their delegated powers this week.

Three other applications were withdrawn, with all the others being permitted.

Officers have rejected plans to remove a rear chimney stack at 1 Ranelagh Road in Winchester.

In Whiteley, an application to remove conditions relating to 35 Skylark Meadows was withdrawn.

A separate application in Whiteley, concerning the provision of a product testing facility consisting of a secure compound area within the existing Trilogy 3 service yard in Concorde Way was also withdrawn.

In Wonston, plans to extend the garage of Bridge Cottage, Hunton Lane, to create an annexe and make façade alterations to the main house were withdrawn.

All other applications were permitted. Applicants names were withheld from the list.

In Micheldever, plans to add a swimming pool and a plat room at West Stratton Manor, West Stratton Lane, were permitted.

In Oliver’s Battery, an application to erect a two-storey side and rear extension, complete a partial garage conversion and driveway extension at 113 Oliver’s Battery Road were given the go-ahead.

In Winchester Town, plans for a single-storey extension and porch at 121 Andover Road were allowed.

The application to remove an existing fence and replace it with a new fence along a new garden boundary at Cheyney Court, The Close, was permitted.

Plans to make alterations to the Patisserie Valerie café in Winchester High Street has been approved. These alterations include removing stud walls, reflooring, painting and decorating; external alterations for new store fascia, blade sign, window vinyls, awning, and the repainting storefront.

A three-storey rear extension with associated alterations has been approved at 4 Avenue Road.
