A CHRISTMAS card shop has returned to Winchester for its fourth year, offering buyers a chance to get their hands on Christmas cards whilst contributing to good causes.
Cards for Good Causes opened in The Brooks Shopping Centre again, after first opening a pop-up shop there last year.
The company came to Winchester in 2020, initially setting up shop on the High Street, before first using a unit in Brooks in 2023.
Speaking to the Chronicle, Volunteer Saroj Sharma said: "It is a historic concept! As you know, it was started in 1959."

Saroj continued: "We've been in Winchester for the past four years and have some community cards as well, made by local artists.
"We have different organisations, like WWF, Save the Children and others working with us. We sell the cards for them and we want to see a change in society."
The Chronicle asked Saroj about his own story with Cards for Good Causes: "I've been involved since last week: I'm brand new. I think it's a brilliant idea."
Saroj also spoke about his experience with customers, who were happy to see the shop come back this year.
"Yesterday we had 17 customers; they were really curious and excited about the cards. I can see the joy and the happiness."
