A community choir's Christmas concert is set to brighten up the festive season.
Meon Voices will perform at St Peter’s Church in Bishop’s Waltham on Saturday, December 14.
The concert, which begins at 7.30pm, promises a blend of traditional carols and contemporary pieces.
The repertoire includes a medley from Les Misérables, compositions by John Rutter, and Eric Whitacre’s Glow.
The evening will also feature audience participation in singing carols.
An interval will provide refreshments, including tea, coffee, and mince pies.
Although entry is free, donations will be collected for the church and choir charities.
Meon Voices, known for its 'uplifting' melodies, welcomes new members.
Rehearsals for the new term will start in mid-January 2024.
Those interested can join the Monday night practices from 7.30 to 9.30pm at the United Free Church in Bishop’s Waltham.
The season culminates in a Christmas concert in mid-December.
