A HAMPSHIRE teenager has been banned from the road for more than a year for driving a car after drinking.
Ethan Massingham, 18, of Baddesley Close, North Baddesley, drove a Nissan on Rownhams Lane, Southampton, on Monday, July 22 whilst over the alcohol limit, acourt heard.
Massingham underwent a breath test, returning a result of 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more exceeding the legal limit of 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 3, he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates have banned him from the road for 14 months, which he can reduce by 14 weeks if he completes a course by June 26 next year.
He has also been fined £200, and must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The total amount of £365 must be paid in full by October 31.
