The Grange Festival has unveiled its programme for summer 2025, featuring several UK premieres.
The festival, under the leadership of new chief executive Tyler Stoops, will showcase new productions of La traviata and Die Fledermaus, alongside the UK debut of a new staging of Rameau’s Les Indes galantes.
Ballet Black will also return in a double bill of contemporary ballet, alongside concerts including Summertime Swing, Bernstein on Broadway, Queen at the Opera, and a star-studded gala event in aid of The Meath Epilepsy Charity.

Artistic director Michael Chance said: "Music truly knows no boundaries: our 2025 choices celebrate the power of live performance across a dazzling spectrum. There is something for everyone, no matter what your age or background."
Mr Stoops said: "This truly is a landmark programme with varied repertoire, diverse creative voices, and leading global talents.
"I couldn’t be more proud of how the team has come together to engineer this festival to delight both those who already know and love The Grange Festival and those who haven’t experienced it before."

The festival opens with a new production of La traviata, directed by Maxine Braham and designed by Jamie Vartan, with lighting by Johanna Town.
The cast includes Samantha Clarke as Violetta, with Nico Darmanin as Alfredo and Dario Solari as Giorgio Germont.
Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by renowned exponent of Verdi, Richard Farnes - another festival debut.
Die Fledermaus will be given a 1920s twist, with an all-star ensemble cast and an English translation.
Paul Curran will direct, with Gary McCann on design and Johanna Town on lighting.
The performance will be conducted by Paul Daniel, with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Rameau’s Les Indes galantes will be staged with a blend of 18th-century music and contemporary street dance styles.
This is co-conceived by director-choreographer Bintou Dembélé and conductor Leonardo García-Alarcón.

The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw will perform hits from the Great American Songbook in Summertime Swing.
Queen at the Opera will celebrate 50 years of Queen’s album, A Night at the Opera.
Bernstein on Broadway will celebrate Leonard Bernstein’s impact on musical theatre.
The Opera Gala will raise funds for The Meath Epilepsy Charity.
A revamped pricing scheme will see more than 5,000 tickets priced under £100, with full-price tickets starting from £12.
A redesigned subsidised ticket scheme for those aged 35 and under will remove any upfront membership payment and offer tickets at £5, £25, and £45 for 16-25s, and £15, £35, and £55 for 26-35s to select performances.
The Grange Festival takes place from June 4 to July 6, 2025 and is on sale to members from November 12, 2024. Public booking opens on February 4, 2025.
