WINCHESTER planning officers rejected plans for one scheme under their delegated powers this week.
One other application was withdrawn with all the others being approved.
Officers have rejected plans to demolish a former Esso garage and erect six new dwellings in Winchester Road, Bishop’s Waltham.
In Denmead at Hyden Cottage, Kidmore Lane, an extension was submitted for permission for a proposed single-storey rear extension, elevational changes throughout the existing property, and pitched roof modifications allowing for a dormer and glazed gables to be formed. The application has been withdrawn.
All other applications were permitted. Applicants names were withheld from the list.
In Badger Farm, plans were approved for a proposed rear glazed extension at 23 Wheatland Close.
In Boarhunt, a two storey side extension and single storey rear extension was approved at Saddlestones, Trampers Lane.
In Colden Common, plans can go ahead to add a front porch to 34 Spring Lane. Permission has also been granted to extend a second storey dormer.
In Compton, permission has been granted for partial change of use of existing staff room to dwelling at Silkstead Stables, Silkstead Lane. Retrospective permission has also been given for partial change of use of the paddock to garden curtilage for existing agricultural dwelling, in ground swimming pool, 2m high fence and garden building.
Plans for a proposed ground floor single-storey rear extension at The Chequers, Compton Street, have been given the go-ahead. The plans also include the installation of two conservation-style roof lights on the front elevation and the reinstatement of original roof tiles on part of the front elevation and a loft conversion for a section of the pitched roof.
In Itchenstoke and Ovington, a lawful development certificate has been granted to Abbotstone Wood Campsite, Basingstoke Road, to establish the lawful use of the campsite.
In Kings Worthy, plans to replace a garden shed with a new outbuilding at The Reading Room, London Road, have been approved.
An application to construct a single storey front porch in place of an existing conservatory at Ervinane, 36 Lovedown Lane, has been permitted.
In Shedfield, the erection of a permanent agricultural worker's dwelling to replace a temporary agricultural worker's dwelling on an agricultural holding can go ahead at Pricketts Hill Nursery, Pricketts Hill.
In Southwick, a lawful development certificate has been granted for the importation and dispersion of a higher quality topsoil, across four agricultural fields to improve existing low quality soil at the Portsmouth Water Farlington To Nelson Pipeline, Crooked Walk.
In Wickham and Knowle, an application to install to new pieces of play equipment in open space at Barbastelle Walk has been approved.
In Winchester Town, an application to construct a detached timber framed studio within existing garden at 3 Belle Court has been approved.
Plans can go ahead at 28-29 Bell Street to make repairs and improvements to the building, including localised roof repair, insertion of lead flashings, improvements to surface water drainage, plaster repairs and redecoration.
An application to construct a garage/storage area to the side of 4 Wolfe Close has been approved.
At 1 Park Close, plans for a proposed one and two storey extension to the west, and a proposed two storey extension to the north have been approved, along with Internal remodelling.
Plans to construct a front and rear Juliette balcony, a loft conversion including front and rear facing dormer windows, and carry out all associated works has been approved at 4 Blue Ball Corner, Water Lane.
An application to construct a two storey rear extension and single storey rear extension and make alterations and improvements to 13 Manningford Close have been approved.
Plans for a two storey side and rear extensions, single storey side and rear extensions with internal modifications, hard and soft landscaping and modified site access and driveway at 12 Westley Close have been given the go ahead.
An application to replace existing boundary fence at front adjacent to street with brick wall at 87 Christchurch Road has been approved.
