A WINCHESTER man has been jailed for threatening behaviour against a woman.
Terence Miller, 42, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, was sent to prison for eight weeks for, according to the court record: "an unprovoked attack of a serious nature with a history of violence against the same victim".

The record for Basingstoke Magistrates Court added: "The magistrates do not make a restraining order in view of the ongoing relationship between the parties".
Miller was also ordered to pay £40 costs.
He is a resident of West View House, the ex-offenders' hostel run by A2Dominion, which is closing in the spring.
