A MAN who molested another male in an Alresford street has been ordered to do community service.
Glenn Townsend committed the sexual assault in East Lane, Alresford, on August 14 2023, a court heard.
The court record said: "You intentionally touched a male and that touching was sexual when he did not consent and you did not reasonably believe that he was consenting".

Townsend, 62, of Main Road, Bishop's Sutton, near Alresford, admitted the charge.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order for Townsend to do 135 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months, for up to 35 days. He was also ordered to pay £300 prosecution costs.
Townsend will also be on the sex offenders register for five years with a start date of October 2.
