A YOUNG man caught over the drink drive limit by police has been disqualified from driving.
Thomas Bryant, 21, of Darvill Road, Ropley Dean, near Alresford, was stopped by officers on August 31, a court heard.
When tested Bryant returned a reading of 53mg in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.

District Judge Stephen Apted banned him from the road for 14 months, with a 15-week reduction if he passes an approved course.
He was also fined fined £395 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £158 victim surcharge, to be paid by February 1 2025.
