RECENTLY having had minor surgery at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, the stitches were to be removed at my GP surgery, but due to an error in their appointment system, no one was available for the procedure.

So I made my way to the RHCH. After explaining the problem to the receptionist at outpatients, she was extremely helpful, leaving her desk and going to the appropriate department. In a very short time, my stitches were removed by a very pleasant and caring nurse. I was on my way home in just over an hour. Considering l had no appointment, the treatment I received was exemplary. Thank you to two very special ladies.
