I RECENTLY sent a letter to the Chronicle regarding the weeds in and around the streets of Winchester. Other letters and articles reported in your paper have complained about the state and condition of the bus station.
I visited Winchester on Saturday and nothing has changed since my last visit, there were even more weeds, and the state of the bus station was again disgusting. Could I ask our new MP and councillors to take a walk around our city and just see what I, and others, are complaining about? With the thousands of visitors due to arrive shortly to visit the Christmas Market, could I please request that the city and county councillors take a good look before they all arrive, and try once again to make Winchester a city to be proud of?
