A HOST of spooky activities are being planned for a Hampshire farm as a pumpkin patch looks to return for its second year.
The Droxford Pumpkin Patch, in a large field in Park Lane, between Droxford and Swanmore, is promising Halloween fun for all ages.
The event is the brainchild of farmer Chris Horn and his wife Laura.
Chris's family have farmed land in the Meon Valley since 1605. He bought Lycroft Farm and its associated business units six years ago - and thought that now would be a good time to diversify into holding events.
He said: "We seem to have taken the description of a boutique pop up pumpkin patch which I kind of like."
Activities on the farm include wand making, potion creation, pumpkin picking, sheep feeding, a straw bale cinema, pumpkin garden games and a hay bale mountain.
There will be a guest appearance from Caroline Crowe, who will be reading her new book Witch's New Trick.
The farm's resident Wizard Wizard Willowbrook will also be appearing with his new friend Witch Hazelwood.
There will also be a café serving up hot drinks and treats.
The patch will be open on the weekends of October 19 and 20, and 24 and 27, and then everyday between October 30 and November 3. There is a special dog-friendly day on November 3.
Tickets cost £6, with some activities extra. Go to droxfordpumpkinpatch.com/ for more.
