An award-winning chef will cater the Test Valley Business Awards Gala dinner this month.

The Test Valley Business Awards is to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a ceremony featuring a three-course meal prepared by a chef.

The honour of catering the event goes to caterers McCrimmon & Reid, who will cook up some fabulous dishes for the night on Thursday, October 24, at the Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop.

The firm is a family-owned business, run by award-winning chef Alan Haughie.

Alan has strong connections with the Test Valley, having grown up in Hampshire, left to learn from the best, and then returned to The Greyhound in Stockbridge, where he gained the Michelin Guide Pub of the Year award before setting up his own business.

He said: "It is a great privilege to provide the catering again for the Test Valley Business Awards.

"We are so fortunate to have an abundance of fantastic local suppliers on our doorstep in the Test Valley, and their produce will help make it an evening to remember."

Katie Brooks, chairman of the Test Valley Business Awards, said: "I am very excited that Alan is working with the Test Valley Business Awards again and is one of our silver sponsors.

"McCrimmon & Reid offer exceptional food, ensuring that everyone who attends has a memorable evening."
