A brand new pizza pub, The Pizza Tavern, has opened its doors on Thursday, October 2, with an opening night celebration full of pizza and draft beer.

The home of The Pizza tavern will be Number 4 Bridge Street, taking over residency from the previous Black Bottle wine bar that was based there.

The co-owners Michael Smith and Freddie Fraser put the finishing touches to the signage this afternoon.

Then they welcomed customers with big smiles and shared their passion for food and cooking across the evening.

The business had previously been based at The Black Boy pub in Wharf Hill.
