TWO Romsey choirs are holding a free concert to help raise fund for one of the town's churches.
Romsey Voices and Romsey Youth Children’s Choir have offered to perform in the Abbey United Reformed Church on Friday, October 11, to raise money towards church funds for essential roof repairs.
All are invited to the autumn concert, which begins at 7pm. While there is no charge for entry, those who wish to donate to the maintenance of the church will be much appreciated.

A representative of the URC said: "The iconic archway and elegant tower alongside Romsey’s Market Place, the majestic adjoining church and neighbouring church hall all need your help.
"The church auditorium is a splendid concert venue, used by local and visiting choirs and musicians and the church hall is extensively used by many groups of all ages.
"But keeping, these listed, Victorian buildings in good repair for the benefit of all, needs a lot of maintenance and money."
As well as the singing, there will be a raffle and retiring collection.
Local businesses and members of the public who are interested in helping with the raffle prizes can send an email to abbeyurccal@gmail.com.
