A RURAL road has been reopened after it was blocked earlier today.

The A32 between the A272 PB petrol station junction and The Angel Hotel in West Tisted was closed due to a fallen tree, with delays reported on approach.

The fallen tree was first reported at approximately 6.30am, with Hampshire County Council asking members of the public to find alternative routes while work took place to clear the tree, which was blocking the road in both directions.

The tree was removed from the road at approximately 9.15am, with the road being reopened soon after.
