A WINCHESTER man has been imprisoned after breaking a criminal behaviour order.
James Beadle, 45, of Hyde Gate, breached a pre-existing criminal behaviour order by entering Winchester High Street on Tuesday, September 24 and stealing a bottle of vodka worth £7.50 from M&S, a court heard.
The order had been put in place on September 6.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 26, Beadle pleaded guilty to the offences and to failing to attend a follow-up assessment following a test for the presence of a Class A drug on Wednesday, July 24.
Magistrates at Basingstoke sentenced Beadle to 12 weeks in prison, with the court record saying that the defendant has a flagrant disregard for court orders, and for people and their property.
