WINCHESTER planning officers rejected plans for one scheme under their delegated powers this week.
One other application was withdrawn with all the others being approved.
Officers have rejected plans for the reopening and widening of existing aperture to form an access at The Sunday School, Victoria Road, Hyde, Winchester.
In Denmead at Barn Green Cottage, The Green, Southwick Road, the front porch has been constructed larger than that shown on original planning and the council enforcement team requested that this application be made. It has now been withdrawn.
All other applications were permitted. Applicants names were withheld from the list.
In Bishop’s Waltham approved was a change of use of the ground floor of the former Banks Bistro, Bank Street, to residential, creating two x two bedroom flats.
In Headbourne Worthy planners have approved plans for a pergola at 1 Fullers Mill Way.
Also in Headbourne Worthy parish at Kings Barton a plan has been approved for garage conversion and side extension to link to house, new bifold doors to rear, new step in garden and new garage door and erection of shed at 14 Bingham Road.
In Hursley reconstruction of previously removed chimney, works to improve drainage, alterations to steps at rear of property and works to rectify damp has been approved at Culver House, 36 Main Road.
Planners have permitted the demolition of an extension and replacement with new extension and car port at Trees, The Avenue, Alresford.
In Oliver’s Battery a single storey extension and refurbishment to chalet bungalow, with new dormers, roof lights, new roofing, painted brickwork and upgraded windows, and associated landscaping, cladding and new glazing to rear garage and workshop has been approved at 7 Compton Way.
In Shedfield approval has been given work on to three windows at Coral House, 8 Hall Court, Botley Road.
In Waltham Chase the council officers have granted permission for the demolition of existing garage, decking and outbuildings; new ground floor extensions (rear and sides) for a new garage and to increase living space; first floor rear extension; changes to external finishes at Brambles, Winchester Road.
Also in Waltham Chase permission has been given for a side single storey extension at 4 Provene Close.
In Winchester town a two-storey side extension has been approved at 68 Teg Down Meads.
At 4 Swan Lane permission has been given for an air source heat pump.
Winchester College has been granted permission for a new steel beam, directly to underside of extg corroded, embedded flat concrete roof supporting steel at cooks accommodation at Chernocke House, St Cross Road.
Application permitted is a single storey rear extension and rear dormer at 78 Fromond Road in Weeke.
At Lloyds TSB Bank at 48 - 49 High Street permission has been granted for roof works and a direct fire escape.
Approval has been given for a single storey side and rear extension and raised patio at 26 Hatherley Road in Fulflood.
Fascia signage sign-written on to existing fascia and 1no. projecting sign applied to existing fascia has been approved at 112 High Street.
The Gurkha Museum at Peninsula Barracks has permission for an internal and external alterations including; New entrance and exit ramps and steps, refurbishment and improvements to shared spaces and facilities, alterations to museum spaces to create new reception and shop, installation of a new platform lift and new exhibition fit-out throughout.
A single storey side extension can be built at 129 Andover Road.
