Once again the customer, we the public are having to pay for the water companies' mismanagement.

All we have heard is how much profit they made; how much in bonuses being assigned by the high management, the cost of repairing the pipework. They don't tell us how much was paid to shareholders who refused to help the companies out, in these hard times; then above all how much of the profits went into the logistics to ensure all waste disposal pipelines were adequate to keep up with all the extra development and of course our now the 'weather' due to climate change?

The wastage system needs to be enlarged not re-lined, but of course, there will be bureaucratic bulls excrement in return.

They should not expect us to pay the ridiculous increase they were demanding.
