Fifteen sound signs have been installed along Watercress Way to enhance visitors' experiences.
The roundels are part of an initiative to help walkers identify birds by their songs and were made possible by the Newitt Legacy via the Alresford Rotary.
They feature QR codes that, when scanned, direct users to the Watercress Way website, where they can listen to recordings of common birds in the area.
The project aims to enrich the experience of attendees on the popular Dawn Chorus Walk and regular Bird Walks along the River Arle, where up to 30 bird species can be spotted and heard.

The selected birds include the Blackbird, Buzzard, Cetti's Warbler, Collared Dove, Dunnock, Great Tit, Grey Heron, Magpie, Mallard, Moorhen, Robin, Rook, Skylark, Song Thrush, and Woodpigeon.
Alongside the roundels, four new benches have been installed along the route, with more planned.
Each bench has a plaque acknowledging the donation that made them possible.
A spokesperson said: "Please enjoy resting a while on the benches and listen to evocative bird song."
Feedback from walkers is welcomed at info@thewatercressway.org.uk.
