Hampshire residents have been honoured for their outstanding contributions to society.
At a ceremony in Winchester, the Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Nigel Atkinson, presented British Empire Medals on behalf of The King.
Julie Duffy from Portsmouth, Valerie Etteridge from Otterbourne, Paul Francis from Southampton, Jannette McElarney from Fleet, Colin Oliphant from Sholing, Dane Oliver from Longstock, and Robert Pearce from Portchester were all recipients.

Mrs Etteridge's award was for her contributions to the community in Otterbourne.
Mr Francis was honoured for his services to public safety.
Mrs McElarney was commended for her work with young people in the Fleet and Odiham districts.
Mr Oliphant received his medal for his services to the environment and the community in Southampton.
Mr Oliver was recognised for his services to the community in Test Valley.
Mr Pearce was honoured for his voluntary services to young people.
The medals were awarded as part of the Birthday Honours List 2024, acknowledging the dedication and hard work these individuals have shown in their respective fields.
