An arts and education charity has been recognised for its work with asylum seekers and refugees.
Play to the Crowd, which runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair, and Playmakers, was awarded the title of Theatre of Sanctuary by City of Sanctuary UK.
This is a network of organisations that support asylum seekers and refugees.
Play to the Crowd welcomes people from all walks of life to celebrate culture and the arts.
It has built relationships with communities in Winchester and beyond, including the Winchester Ukrainian Cultural Association, Portsmouth City of Sanctuary groups, and people living in the Winchester district and Southampton.

Engagement producer Hannah Jones said: "At Play to the Crowd, we are thrilled to announce our becoming a Theatre of Sanctuary.
"Over the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of forging dynamic relationships with community groups and artists who have enriched our platforms — Theatre Royal Winchester and Hat Fair — with their vibrant cultures.
"These collaborations have not only brought innovation and engagement to our audiences but have also created meaningful connections that celebrate diversity in all its forms."
To celebrate its award, the charity will be showcasing the talents of those seeking sanctuary at Theatre Royal Winchester in the Sanctuary Local Talent Night on Thursday, October 3, at 7pm.
Tickets are on sale now from £4.
