A DURLEY man has been banned from the road for almost two years for drink driving.
Stanislaw Dziwisz, 42, of Durley Brook Farm, was caught driving a black Vauxhall Astra near his home address on Sunday, October 8, a court heard.
Undergoing a blood test, Dziwisz returned a reading of 177 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, more than double the legal limit of 80mg.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Friday, April 12, Dziwisz initially pleaded not guilty to the offence, before changing his plea on Monday, September 23.
Magistrates have banned him from the road for 20 months, which can be reduced by 20 weeks if he completes a course by November 2, 2025.
He has also been fined £607 and must also pay a victim surcharge of £243 and £85 costs. The total amount of £935 must be paid in full by October 21, the court ordered.
