The head chef of a village pub showcased his skills during a cooking demonstration at The Romsey Show.
Hampshire Fare ran a Skills Kitchen at the show on Saturday, September 13 and chose The Four Horseshoes in Nursling’s head chef, Connor Hurford, to do a live demonstration.
He cooked a veggie starter, crispy pork belly, and charred hispi cabbage.
The general manager at The Four Horseshoes, Adam Khalil, said: "The Four Horseshoes are proud members of Hampshire Fare and were delighted to participate in the Skills Kitchen.
"It was a great experience for Connor and his food went down well with the audience."

Along with the Hampshire Fare Skills Kitchen, the dedicated Food Zone also showcased local and international delicacies and other chef demonstrations.
Elsewhere, equine events, including horse classes and donkey displays, attracted keen interest during the day, with livestock shows reflecting the event’s deep agricultural roots.
For those seeking hands-on countryside experiences, the show’s Countryside Area did not disappoint. Activities such as Flyball for dogs, motorcycle displays, falconry displays, and gun dog demonstrations were all on offer.
The trade stands were another major attraction, with hundreds of stalls offering a variety of goods, from rural crafts and clothing to garden furniture and farm equipment.
