A care home has marked its grand opening after a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
St Cross Grange Care Home in St Cross Road, Winchester, the latest addition to the Manor Life family, celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, September 18.
The home was acquired by Manor Life in 2023.
The opening was commemorated at a ceremony attended by residents, their family and friends, community members, and local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Winchester.
Guests were welcomed with harp music, arrival drinks, and canapés, followed by speeches to celebrate the opening.

The mayor and the home's first resident cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the official opening of the newly refurbished home.
The event allowed guests to meet the qualified and experienced staff and see how St Cross Grange is committed to providing personalised care for its residents.
Guests were given guided tours of the home, showcasing the 64 bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms and flatscreen TVs, communal areas including a quiet lounge and terrace, café facilities, cinema room, wellbeing room, and hair and beauty salon.
After the ceremony, residents and guests enjoyed afternoon tea in the restaurant, prepared by the home’s head chef Florina and her team.
St Cross Grange Care Home offers 24-hour residential, dementia, and respite care.
