A Winchester theatre is to host a live radio play featuring famous faces.
Theatre Royal Winchester will welcome the wartime-set play, The Lion and the Unicorn, on Wednesday, October 2.
The play opens on the evening of October 13, 1939, six weeks after the declaration of war on Hitler's Germany.
It depicts a private dinner between Winston Churchill and Neville Chamberlain, who were once political opponents.

As the play unfolds, the audience is taken into a world where Chamberlain's negotiations with Hitler have failed, and Churchill has returned to the Cabinet after a decade, his warnings about the Nazi threat proven right.
The play, written by Robin Hawdon, imagines the events of that unique evening, exploring the lengths to which one might go to appease a threatening dictator.
The Lion and the Unicorn features a cast of familiar faces from the small screen, including Brian Capron, Frazer Hines, Corrinne Wicks, and Tim Hudson.
The play is staged as a radio broadcast, with live sound effects transporting the audience to wartime London.
The production is brought to the stage by Crime and Comedy Theatre Company, known for previous hits like The Hound of the Baskervilles and A Christmas Carol.
The Lion and the Unicorn will be performed at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
