A nursery transformed into a festival site to beat the post-summer blues.
Bright Horizons Nursery, in Chilworth, held a week-long party to bring a bit of summer sunshine back into their lives.
The nursery was transformed into a festival site, with a campsite, main stage, and refreshment stands.
Children wore Chilfest wristbands and took part in activities including smoothie and lemonade making, face painting, campfire cooking, hair braiding, and a tattoo station.

There was also a stage for mini rockstars to perform on.
Nursery manager Charlotte said: "Although we recreated the festival experience for our children, the team and I had just as much fun. Chilfest marked the start of the preschool’s new school adventures and brought a bit of summer sunshine back into our lives."
Last month, the nursery raised nearly £800 for The Bright Horizons Foundation by hosting a toy sale.
The foundation creates child-friendly spaces for vulnerable children experiencing parental imprisonment, homelessness, or domestic abuse.
While Chilfest was not a fundraiser, it is another example of how the team at Chilworth is constantly creating imaginative opportunities for their children to learn and develop into confident, playful, and charitable young people – all whilst having fun.
