THE HAMPSHIRE Fair will return to The Grange at Northington near Alresford next week.

The Hampshire Fair Limited, created in 2019, is committed to raising funds for small Hampshire charities by arranging lectures and events as well as the Autumn shopping fair.

Taking place on Wednesday, October 2, the fair will host more than 60 stalls for members of the public to browse.

Products will range from produce to jewellery, to clothes, house gifts and more. The fair is open from 9.30am to 4pm.

There will be parking on site, and a café serving lunches, teas and cakes and The Grange Estate sparkling wines.

The Fair is sponsored by NFU Mutual, Kirker Travel, Moore Barlow, Rathbones, ADAM Architecture, Sofas and Stuff and headline sponsor, Knight Frank.

This year, the event is raising money for the charities Kids on Track, Murray Parish Trust and The Grange Festival Learning@ The Grange.

Kids on Track was set up in 2016 to provide an enrichment programme for disadvantaged children in Andover, so that all local children, whatever their background, have an equal chance of success.

The charity offers children a chance to attend many activities for free, including non-residential holiday camps, participation in a range of after-school activities, local day trips and a mentoring program.

Meanwhile, the Murray Parish Trust offers access to mental health and emotional support to children with serious illnesses, as well as their families.

Since 2014, trust has directed more than £4m to projects concerning the future of children’s healthcare. This includes funding for a brand new Children’s Emergency & Trauma Department, an intra-operative MRI scanner for children’s brain surgery, 2 new bed bays for the PICU, a full-time counsellor and a specialist helicopter gurney to transport critically ill infants via Air Ambulance.

The third charity, The Grange Festival Learning@ The Grange, shares creative skills in schools and communities around the county of Hampshire. Using a variety of methods, the charity works to encourage curiosity, creative thinking, team work and imaginative problem solving.
