A WEST Wellow man has been banned from the road for driving a car after drinking.
George Luckhurst, 24, of Brookfields, was stopped by police while driving a white van in Spitfire Link near Winchester on Saturday, July 13, a court heard.
Luckhurst was made to do a breath test, returning a reading of 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 17, he pleaded guilty.
