AN man has been banned from the road for three years after pleading guilty to driving while on drugs.
Liam Williams, 32, of Chilton Candover, near Alresford, was caught in Whitedown, Alton, while under the influence of cannabis on Saturday, March 2, a court heard.
Williams was tested by officers, with the level of cannabis in his body being found to be 9.8 µg/L, above the legal limit of 2 µg/L.

Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 10, Williams pleaded guilty to the offence.
He has been disqualified from driving for three years.
Magistrates have also fined Williams £300, and he must also pay a victim surcharge of £120 and £85 costs. The total amount of £505 will be paid in monthly instalments of £169 starting on September 30.
