THE family of a Winchester man diagnosed with terminal cancer are fundraising so he can complete his bucket list.
George Hatt, 25, has been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain cancer.
He underwent surgery in early April and was told by doctors that he had just 18 months to live.

Since his diagnosis, George's family have started to fundraise to complete items on his bucket list, and have said that he has remained positive and maintained his desire to make others happy.
The ‘Hatt’s Off to George Team’ wants to spread awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity to further their efforts in finding a cure and ensure that anyone who exhibits symptoms is seen by a medical professional.
All proceeds from the fundraising will be divided between The Brian Tumour Charity, and George so that he can check off aspirations on his bucket list which among others includes meeting Liam Gallagher, going deep sea fishing and riding in a hot air balloon.
The ‘Hatt’s off to George Team’ organised a community fundraising event on August 24 at the Sportsman’s Club in Winchester. This event included entertainment, games, and a significantly large raffle.
Two hundred and fifty people attended this event raising £5,481.00.
Jess Hatt, George’s sister, said: "It was really satisfying to see my efforts and those of my team members pay off and to see how we had developed connections with members of the community, who all came to our event and supported us as a family. Organising an event this size required a lot of commitment, dedication, and hard work."

The fundraising so far has raised £16,000 and Jess is aiming to raise £20,000 for both her brother and the charity.
George's family would like to thank everyone who has donated in support of George and his chosen charity, donations can still be made via the Just Giving page.
Jess continued: "It means the world to me to make sure George can live the best life he can while he is still able to, and we could not have done this without the help of the public and our community. Seeing George smile, enjoy life, and create memories with those around him makes me happy. Seeing George fulfil his dreams will create family memories that we will always cherish."
