A crash on at a Winchester junction is causing some slow traffic this afternoon. 

Just before 3pm on Friday, September 20, two cars crashed at the junction of Olivers Battery Road South and Badger Farm Road.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire Police are at the scene.

Traffic maps are showing very slow traffic on Olivers Batter Road South and Badger Farm Road. 

According to the Stagecoach app, buses serving Oliver's Battery have been delayed or cancelled.

A police spokesperson said: "We were called just before 3pm to a collision on Badger Farm Road involving two cars. Minor injuries were reported and the road is now open."

A spokesperson from the fire service added: "Winchester and Eastleigh crews were called following a crash between two vehicles on Olivers Battery Road South at around 3pm.

"One casualty was treated by firefighters before they were passed into the care of SCAS paramedics.

"HIWFRS made the scene safe before returning to station shortly before 4pm."
