A tornado warning has been issued in Hampshire today, including Winchester and Romsey.
The warning was issued by the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) and affects parts of the South West, Midlands, and Hampshire.
The warning has been put in place from 10:02am until 8pm today, Friday September 20.
TORRO has warned residents in Southampton could experience hail, heavy rain, lightning strikes and gusty winds.

A spokesperson for TORRO said: "Showers and thunderstorms already across Kent and Sussex will continue to move in a general westerly direction this morning, and should develop further in coverage into this afternoon.
"Relatively low freezing levels may allow some marginally severe hail to develop in the stronger cores in and close to the depicted area, although coverage will - of course - be hit-and-miss.
"Rather humid low-levels should preclude too much in the way of strong wind gusts, but a few isolated gusts to 40-50mph are possible.
"Heavy rain is likely in places too."
