He said:“I take a special delight in cutting the ribbon for new businesses in our city and district. It is so great to celebrate a new enterprise opening up. I think we all can recognise that our aging population brings some problems and it is wonderful to have a specialist shop run by a manager, like Lee Cogan, with a lot of experience who can supply a range of excellent equipment.

"Good means of mobility allow older people to leave their homes, to meet friends and to have a full social life and to be a part of the community. Isolation has been shown to be one of the main causes of poor health, so I really welcome an enterprise that can help reduce this problem.”

He added “The elevating chairs are really comfortable and a great help getting you on your feet!”
