A FOOTPATH at Winchester's main park will be closed for three weeks while it undergoes planned maintenance.
The path in question runs from Park Avenue past the old River Park Leisure Centre to the North Walls Recreation Ground.

A Winchester City Council spokesperson confirmed that the path is closed while planned maintenance and repair work is carried out.
The path was closed on Monday, September 16, with the work expected to take three weeks in total.
Access to the playing fields along the path will be made available on weekends until the work is completed. There is normal access to the park from the other side of the leisure centre.
