A MAN has been charged with committing an aggravated burglary in Winchester.
Police were called to an address in Cobbett Close, Stanmore, at around 7pm on Sunday, September 15 after residents reported three men forcing entry to their house, making threats, and assaulting them.

Charles Toby Simmonds, 21, of Swaythling Road, Southampton, was arrested at his home yesterday (Tuesday, September 17).
He was subsequently charged with aggravated burglary and kidnap.
Simmonds has been remanded in custody and is appearing before Basingstoke Magistrates Court today, September 18.
