An arts and education charity will benefit from afternoon tea sales at a Winchester hotel.
The Winchester Royal Hotel has announced that it will donate 25p to Play to the Crowd for every afternoon tea sold.
The hotel, which dates back to the 16th century in St Peter Street, is supporting the charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair, and Playmakers.
Linda Wilson and Keeley Dennyschene, the sales team at Winchester Royal Hotel, said: "We’re delighted to partner with Play to the Crowd and support the incredible work they do for arts and education in Winchester.
"Every guest enjoying our afternoon tea will be helping to nurture the creative and cultural vibrancy of Winchester, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of that."

Winchester Royal Hotel join Howden Insurance and the Wykeham Arms in donating money per sale, to the charity.
