Two popular choirs will perform together for the first time at a concert in Stockbridge.
St Peter’s Church will host the Hampshire Combined Choir, made up of Singing for Fun from Whitchurch and the Barton Stacey Chamber Choir, on Saturday, September 28.
The event, Helping Hands Around the World, is the result of months of preparation and marks the beginning of an exciting tour planned later in the year to Gozo in Malta.
Singing for Fun, an all-female choir of about 30 members, has been running for 21 years.

The Barton Stacey Chamber Choir, formed in 2011, is a mixed-voice, adult choir with singers from Barton Stacey and surrounding villages.
Both choirs are directed by Kate Sarnicki, a semi-professional classical soloist and choral conductor with more than 30 years of experience.
They will be accompanied on the piano by Sam Ryall.
The event programme will feature a collection of music for a summer’s evening, including ancient, modern, folk, and pop songs.
The music has been specially chosen ahead of the combined choir’s planned tour of Gozo and Malta in October.
The choirs hope to raise money for Gozo College Sannat Primary School and Special Unit, the only special education unit on Gozo.
