A charity supporting people with mental health issues has been given a donation.
Romsey & Waterside Lions have donated £250 to Prescription Art Test Valley Charity, which provides art and craft classes to help people struggling with mental health issues, which mean they find it hard to mix with others.

The classes are designed in small groups to create a "creative sanctuary" for participants, making it easier for them to cope with the challenge of getting back out into society and hopefully eventually back into work
The charity relies on donations so that it can provide the classes free to the participants.
An art group spokesperson said that it was 'pleased' to receive help towards materials for its activities.
