Winchester RFC has named Sarum Road Hospital as their official healthcare partner.

A new deal signed this September will allow senior players to reap the benefits of the private hospital’s patient care.

These benefits will include diagnostic imaging and physiotherapy services.

This specialist access will aid in injured player’s recovery so that they can return to the playing field faster.

The hospital has worked jointly with Winchester RFC to create a healthcare plan tailored to the specific needs of the players.

The executive director of Sarum Road Hospital, Martin Page, said: "As a fellow community-minded organisation, we are committed to playing an active role supporting the people that we are fortunate enough to care for. We look forward to supporting the players with their diagnostic and imaging needs. On behalf of everyone at Sarum Road Hospital, we wish the team the very best of luck this season."

Rob Sanderson, president of the WRFC said: "We are particularly pleased to agree this partnership with Sarum Road Hospital.
