AFTER three days of mud, music and dancing, Mucky Weekender 2024 is coming to an end.
As previously reported, this year has seen the biggest Mucky Weekender since the festival began, with around 5,000 tickets sold.
Headliners this year have included The Dualers, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Dub Pistols, Dreadzone, Congo Natty, Marshall Jefferson, LTJ Bukem and more.

While the 2023 event was held in scorching heat, this year attendees have faced wet and rainy conditions. However, the weather has not put a dampener on the attendees' enthusiasm for the festival.
Ragnar Hammersbane told the Chronicle: “This is by far the best festival for people who love music. It is full of DJs and music lovers.
“Where else would you have this sort of line-up?
“Despite the weather, the crowd has come ready to hear a great amount of bass this weekend.”
Diane and Rich Barlow had travelled from Brighton to attend Mucky Weekender this year.
They said: “This is our favourite festival.
“It has an older clientele, and people are more respectful. It is for a more mature crowd. There isn’t any litter, and there hasn’t been any trouble.”
Baz Smith, from Exeter, said that he also enjoyed the event.
He said: “I think it has been a great weekend. The weather wasn’t good at the start, but it has improved.
“There has been so much good music, it has been amazing – I’m just loving it.
“I missed the first year the festival was on, this is my third time. It is an immediate fixture for me now.”
Jane Nicholls had come from Southampton to the festival. She said it was her first time attending a Mucky Weekender.
She said: “It has been far above my expectations. The layout and the vibe has been great!”

Poacher Frost, from Bedfordshire, said: “It has been fantastic.
“I have been a few times before, but this is my favourite one. The music was great and the way they have put it all together is really well done.”
“Everyone has been really friendly.”
