Winchester’s 'creative district' is gearing up for a final summer celebration, the much-anticipated second Kings Walk Festival.

Taking place on September 28 with activities running from 10am to 5pm, organisers are inviting residents to the free event, promising opportunities to try something new.

The festival aims to spotlight businesses that have made Kings Walk their base, as well as highlighting other local creative prodigies. This year’s focus is on sustainability and the city's young creatives.

Attractions will consist of a second-hand sale at the Nutshell, sustainable clothing and accessories by the Well Worn, and eco-friendly craft sessions by BellaCrafts.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice with drop-in acting and musical theatre classes at the Nutshell, a variety of pilates sessions at Winchester Pilates, and pottery and tufting trials at Design Junction.

Open House Deli and South Downs Social will not disappoint foodies, with food and drinks, including a street food BBQ accompanied by DJ music.

Attendees can stay updated on the day’s agenda with posts from '@kingswalkwinchester' on social media.

The handle will be sharing updates on what to expect at the festival on September 28 at Kings Walk.
