A HAMPSHIRE man has been banned from the road for almost two years for drink driving.
Samuel Davis, 25, of Parsonage Lane, Durley, was caught drink driving on Snakemoor Lane on Saturday, July 27, a court heard.
Undergoing a breath test, Davies returned a reading of 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, nearly three times the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 28, Davies pleaded guilty to the offence.
He has been disqualified from the road for 22 months, with the opportunity to reduce this by 22 weeks if he completes a course by November 25 next year.
Davies has also been fined £633 and must also pay a £253 victims surcharge and £85 costs. The total amount of £971 must be paid in full by September 25.
