ACROSS the UK, the Met Office has issued weather warnings for this weekend as a nationwide thunderstorm is anticipated.
In Winchester, a yellow weather warning has been issued for between 4am and 9pm on Sunday, September 1.
Disruption is expected due to heavy showers, thunderstorms and a risk of flooding forecast across the county throughout the day.
On its website, the Met Office state that difficult driving conditions and road closures can be expected, as well as the chance of power cuts and public transport delays.
In Winchester, rain and thunderstorms can be expected all day, up until 10pm. The temperature is forecast to peak at 23C between 1pm and 6pm, and at its lowest will be 16C early in the morning.
