Winchester Bus Station: What a horrible place! Winchester High Street is full of elegant streets and elegant shops. However, take a trip to the nearby bus station and you're in for a horrible shock. What a horrible place it is!

It is like something out of 1950s communist Russia! It's so grim, dirty, grey and just full of horrible concrete. Where's the bright, cheerful colours, in this bus station? Where's the greenery in this bus station, like flowers, bushes, pot plants, etc.. The very minimal seating is also so decrepit, old and on its last legs. And why isn't there ample bus shelters, for when it rains?

Think of a really run down, poor town in England and this is the type of horrible bus station that you would expect to see. But this is elegant, historical Winchester, for God's sake!

This horrible bus station really is like you're in 1950s communist Russia.

Come on, Winchester City Council, give this decrepit, dirty, grim bus station the following things:- A good paint job, full of bright, cheerful colours; give it a good, regular clean; add lots of greenery to the bus station, like flowers, bushes, pot-plants, etc; replace and increase the minimal, decrepit seating areas; and add ample bus shelters, for when it rains.

Winchester Bus Station is such a disgrace to elegant, historical Winchester High Street. It really is so grim, dirty & decrepit!
