Once again there is a serious risk of greenfield land being destroyed for the sake of multiple housing. This time, potentially 1,000 houses.
Yet another, local area is threatened to become dense housing creating a serious risk to ever decreasing natural land.
The candidacy to become a site important for nature conservation must be accelerated before it is destroyed for the sake of housing.
Accompanying infrastructure problems are a serious issue.
Around 2,000 residents, at least a thousand vehicles. More schools will be needed. As will another surgery.
Countryside around Winchester is cherished by all.
As I have stated a number of times; once developed it can never be returned to a natural landscape. Animal and bird species would suffer dramatically.
Time to protect Northern Fields and other locations under threat.
