ONE application was refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week. 

All the applications had the applicant's names withheld. 

In Winchester, an application for 14 photovoltaic solar panels on the east roof slope of 57 St Cross Road was refused. 

All other applications were permitted. 

An application for Rose Cottage, The Avenue, in Bishop's Waltham was permitted. This is for the demolition of existing rear single storey lean-to and conservatory, and replace with new flat roof single storey extension in same position with extended footprint.

In Colden Common, an application was permitted for the additions of a back entrance and study/office and single storey double garage at Alderbury House in Bishopstoke Lane. 

A retrospective application was permitted for four timber structures, and extension of timber and PVC covered pergola to side of existing PH. This is at King Charles, 6 Lovedon Lane. 

In Shedfield, a single storey rear extension was permitted at 10 Evelyn Close. 

A rear dormer to existing second floor was permitted at Green View, New Road, in Swanmore. 

In Winchester, a rear flat roof extension, new front door with canopy and first floor infill was permitted at 15 Western Road. 

A single storey extension and alterations to form extended hall, shower room, canopies and associated alterations were permitted at 36 Courtenay Road. 

Alterations to the existing link building connecting the main house to rear extension were permitted at 50 Christchurch Road.
